Dr. Ali completed a Bachelor of Science from McGill University, followed by a Master of Science studying airway smooth muscle from the University of British Columbia. She went on to attend the University of British Columbia for her medical degree, then returned home to attend the Family Medicine Residency program at the University of Toronto. She completed her training in 2013.
Dr. Ali chose to practice family medicine to be able to develop long-term relationships and be an advocate for her patients. She enjoys working with diverse populations and all age groups, from children to the elderly. Dr. Ali believes in empowering patients to take an active role in maintaining their health. She advocates the benefits of a well-balanced lifestyle and incorporates diet and lifestyle adjustments to address medical conditions wherever possible.
Dr. Ali was born and raised in Toronto. She has two children.
Dr. Melanie Beswick completed her medical school training at the University of Toronto. She continued on with the University of Toronto for her postgraduate family medicine residency training and completed her residency at Toronto East General Hospital where she was a chief resident in her program.
Dr. Beswick chose a career in family medicine as she enjoys providing comprehensive medicine to the whole family and values the importance of continuity of care. In addition to providing a broad scope of practice, she has special interests in emphasizing preventative care with her patients, women’s health, and paediatrics. Outside of medicine, Dr. Beswick enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and dance.
Dr. Omid Kyle Vojdani
B.Sc., M.D., CCFP (EM)
Dr. Vojdani completed his medical training at Memorial University in Newfoundland and went on to complete his family medicine residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax where he was the chief resident in his program. Dr. Vojdani went on to complete a fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Dalhousie University.
Dr. Vojdani currently practices both Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine in Toronto where he holds an academic position through the University of Toronto. He is involved in the administration both at the hospital level and at the clinic practice level and is active in teaching of both medical students and residents.
Dr. Vojdani has a special interests in departmental flow and airway management.
Dr. Sanghera is a graduate of the University of Toronto medical school and completed her family medicine residency at Toronto Western Hospital. Prior to medical school, she completed a Masters in Human Nutrition at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Sanghera chose to practice family medicine because it allows her to get to know her patients well and care for the entire family. She enjoys the full scope of family medicine including women’s health, pediatrics, preventative care and chronic disease management.
Dr. Megan Reynolds
B.HSc., MD, CCFP(EM)
Originally from Toronto, Dr. Megan Reynolds received her medical degree and completed her post graduate residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto. She followed with a year of training in Emergency Medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury Ontario.
Dr. Reynolds currently practices emergency medicine at Toronto East General Hospital, where she is active in the teaching of both medical students and residents at the University of Toronto. She also does some nursing home care and has recently expanded her practice to family medicine. She is looking forward to her new practice and the opportunity to get to know and care for her patients over time. Her interests include women’s health, well baby and pediatric care, preventative health and nutrition.
When not at work, Megan enjoys staying active with running, swimming and yoga and loves cooking and traveling.
Dr. Muneesh Jha
B.Sc., MD CCFP
Dr Jha completed his medical training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He returned back to Canada, where he successfully completed his residency in Family Medicine with the University of Manitoba. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Emergency Medicine with the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Jha is currently a full time Emergency Room physician affiliated with the University of Toronto. He practices out of the Toronto East General Hospital, where he is involved in medical student and family medicine training. Dr. Jha has a part time General Practice with Queens Quay Medical FHO, where he is interested in providing general medical care for the whole family, with an emphasis on Preventative care.
Dr. Ruchi Mohindra
B.Sc., M.D., CCFP (EM)
Dr. Ruchi Mohindra is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland Medical school and completed her post graduate family medicine residency at Queen's University. She completed an extra year of training in Emergency Medicine at Queen's and moved to Toronto shortly thereafter.
Dr. Mohindra continues to practice in Emergency Medicine but is excited to expand her current practice into family medicine which allows a broad spectrum of medicine with more continuity of care. Dr. Mohindra is involved in medical education and teaches at both the undergraduate medical student level and residency level at the University of Toronto.
Although she appreciates a varied scope in medicine, Dr. Mohindra has a special interest in preventative health, women's health, paediatrics and academic medicine.
Aside from medicine, Dr. Mohindra enjoys staying active through running and yoga as well as traveling, music and photography.
